Wow, that IS a bit scary. Hadn't seen this before. Let's face it tho, one of the problems continuing to plague education is the existence of "dead wood" teachers who should have left the profession years ago but won't leave. Maybe this will provide some new transparency and pressure that could be constructive?
Thanks for your comment! I'm all for transparency, and I agree that our profession has tolerated too much "dead wood." But this sign seems to take us to a kind of mob rule of personnel management at a time when it seems like our field is aching for more professionalism. (But actually, come to think of it, I wish they'd had this sign when I was in high school! I think the idea is growing on me.)
